Soundtraxx Tsunami and Class M

I am also very pleased with the Tsunamis sound. However, be very, very
careful that there are no shorts in the installation (watch where the wires
are attached to the motor especially). The Tsunamis are very sensitive to
current overloads. Also be sure to check the stall current on the motor.
If it can go over 1 amp when stalled, it might also do it even when there is
little load.

On the Vintage Rails volume 6, there is one scene with an M and apparently
with sound. I say apparently because there is sound dubbed in all over the
place in the entire VHS. And a lot of it is totally incorrect for the loco
being shown, wrong whistle, wrong exhaust sequence, etc. Anyway, this ³M
whistle² is somewhat like a hooter, but with a lot of ³chiff² or overtones.
I didn¹t think the Tsunami Medium Steam selection had anything appropriate.
I haven¹t heard the light steam selection yet.

Good Luck with your M. I have an M and an M1, and have not thought yet
about installing a decoder.
