I have an HO scale Sunset Class M, which I am very interested in installing
a sound system into. Has anyone here used the new Tsunami decoder with
satisfaction? What should I look out for? Anything you would have done
differently?

Mike they have the best sound of any in the market place today, and I've
done several M's. Contact me off list for more information, (it tends to get
commercial). I'll be giving a clinic at the modeling get together in Lynchburg
and if you're going we could talk at length there.

Second, I am interested to know about whistle sound. Below are the options
they give for locos. I could probably use a medium steamer, or a small
steamer decoder, based on which has a more suitable whistle. I realize that at
least one of the M's had a special whistle. But do any of these stand out as
being better or closer?

As for the whistle sound I can't say since the only M I've heard was 475,
and I don't know if that was an original whistle on her.
