ex NKP & Wabash passenger cars

 Following the 1964 merger, did any of the ex Nickel Plate and Wabash passenger cars show up on original N&W trains? Marty Flick
Marty:Here is the consist for 2nd 4 from Roanoke on  May 1, 1971Conductor C.S. Jones and Engineer W.W. After the 1964 merger, N&W continued to operate a commuter train five days a week from Orland Park to Chicago, subsidized by the City of Chicago,  Probablymuch of the equipment was ex-Wabash or lEx-NKP.  The crew would leaveDecatur around 2:30 AM on Monday and return Friday night after the southboundrun to Orland Park.   Equipment was serviced at Decatur over the week end.                                                  Harry Bundy
