Harry,  Would you happen to have the consist of 1st 4 from Roanoke on May 1, 1971? If I’m not mistaken Mr. Carter’s Business Car 101 carried the markers.   John Garner

After the 1964 merger, N&W continued to operate a commuter train five days a 

week from Orland Park to Chicago, subsidized by the City of Chicago,  Probably

much of the equipment was ex-Wabash or lEx-NKP.  The crew would leave

Decatur around 2:30 AM on Monday and return Friday night after the southbound

run to Orland Park.   Equipment was serviced at Decatur over the week end.
