Oakvale caboose today

Depot with an eastbound in downtown Oakvale,            WV plus the town’s caboose under the high trestle (appealing            to others to explain which railroad built it).
          

          
You may be referring to the bridge closer to U.S. 460 spanning
5-Mile Creek.  It's shown in N&W's New River Division track
chart as Bridge #329 -15 spans.  No other details.  This was
on the former Virginian's Roanoke-Elmore line.  Harry Bundy
