Oakvale caboose today

[NW Mailing List]

The trestle in the background was built by the Virginian Railway in the
early 1900's as part of the route from Mullens, WV. to Roanoke, VA .
Mullens was the staging yard for the Virginian's coal trains to haul coal
ultimately to it's Norfolk, VA  coal piers.
