Blue SD35- None that I have- Bellevue probably.

I wish I could confirm the location, but I am pretty sure this is Bellevue
down near the NKP roundhouse (west) end.  The signals on wood poles are what
will confirm this.

 

Also, I have a number of SD 40 slides and SD45 slides that show blue, but NO
SD35 slides showing blue- only black.

slide back in 73 but would guess it could be Bellevue or Columbus or Toledo
or Detroit or Buffalo ........my first thought was Bellevue?

Support here is the shot of SD-35 #1536 during August of 1973........there
is no doubt it is black.  When it was repainted beyond this date it was
painted in the black with white NW scheme (I have 2 shots of it in black and
white NW, both in 1981).  Note the former Wabash C-18 cab in red NW behind
the locomotive.....this scheme like the black NW locomotive scheme became
standard during 1971.
