Hot water pump and coolers

A hot water pump, otherwise known as a feedwater heater, improved efficiency 
over an injector by heating water before forcing it into the boiler. That 
meant that water temperature and boiler pressure dropped less each time 
water was added to the boiler. Such drops would happen each time you'd use 
an injector.
