Class A #1218 was one of three purchased by Union Carbide and used to 
generate steam at one of their chemical plants.  #1218 was 'rescued' and restored for 
operation in the 1980's.  I still have my ticket from the first trip.  
Others, I am sure, will provide more detailed information.
