N&W ever ran or involved or shared trackage with a traction operation?

Pretty much as the title says. I am trying to find out  whether the N&W ever shared track with, owned or had a share in , a traction operation, such that you could see their diesels operating beside little steeplecab electrics, boxcabs, or streetcars and so forth.
Never seen anything, but you never know till you ask.
