N&W caboose project Spring Mills Depot status

I confess to being very surprised that NS is imposing a charge for
modeling.  Especially for any steam other than an A or a J.   Since some
outfits besides Broadway are doing NS diesels I wonder even more.  Also, I
thought that our friends at CSX tried some kind of charge years ago and it
created such an outcry that they redid the cost-benefit analysis and
dropped it, or made a much more reasonable trademark arrangement.

It would be interesting to get more information.
