I was much tighter on my ordering quantity, Mike, though I wish I hadn’t been. Maybe I’ll have chance to bump it when they’re closer to production.
Like you, I don’t remember how many I ordered (or how many extra sets of trucks). Given my layout progress, I can wait!

My last communication with them was last year, and they assured me it was still going to happen, so that's the best 'from the source' info I have.
I pre-ordered 13 (I think) cabins and a bunch of caboose trucks, so I email them once a year. I do wish they would put updates on their website from time to time.
For some actual good news, they just received the DDOX flatcars last month, so that is some progress.. This is listed on their website.
From other sources in the hobby, I have heard there were a series of bad events in the model production industry (model rr factories shutting down for various reasons, one reason being environmental issues, and another being owner retirement) that also affected Spring Mills. This required all manufacturers to scramble for new production options. One can reasonably assume a smaller group like Spring Mills would get lower priority than BLI or Athearn, etc..... Obviously COVID caused various significant forms of disruption over there, and things seem to have finally started moving again within this past year.
