FW: SD40-2 High Hood

Todd,

 

While working with Scale Trains, please put in a recommendation for a N
scale version of the SD40-2, regardless if would or would not be offered
through the Commissary?

I wrote them this morning and received a response.  They only said they
would pass my recommendation on to Product Development for future models.

 The society is currently discussing a pre-order method through the society
or purchasing this model as inventory for the Commissary.  It all depends on
the Scale Trains ordering deadline which will likely be in February.  Shane
Wilson of Scale Trains will advise me of the deadline later this evening.  

 

  Also, the high hood version is available as undecorated for those that
wish to apply the NS schemes or N&W Claytor scheme (F8).
