Dave,
NOPE! I have 2 of the AHM/Rivarossi 10-6 cars from when I was a kid. I think I picked them up at Woolworths probably around 1961-63. They are both smooth sided cars and they both have a distinct belt rail running below the windows panels. These cars have had the roof sections replaced with Con-Cor Budd fluted roof replacement pieces.
I also have some AHM/Rivarossi 10-6 cars without the belt rails. They still have the stock roof.......ACF, P-S or whatever they came with.
I do not like, own or desire anything with corrugated sides. Those type cars just remind me of NYC stuff. lol
Everything passenger is still packed away from my retirement and move. My new train building was erected Tuesday so hopefully my goodies will be unpacked soon. I will try to get some pictures and post them here to show what I'm talking about.

Roger:
I've never seen a HO Rivarossi/AHM 10-6 that was other than the smooth-side ACF prototype.  However, after AHM morphed into IHC, the 10-6 changed to a Budd prototype with corrugated sides and the unique Budd roof.  Might that be what you're remembering?
I do have a Rivarossi/AHM 10-6 that the previous owner had modified by adding a belt rail, but that was "home brew."

If I remember right AHM had 2 different cars. One 10-6 had the belt rail down the side and was correct for the S-1 class sleepers if you added the Con-Cor fluted Budd roof they sold (sell?). The vestibule was on the correct end for those cars. The other 10-6 was wrong as the vestibule was on the wrong end. I don't remember anything about window placement or quantity.

The Rivarossi/AHM car is not correct, as the prototype is ACF rather than Pullman Standard. There is one aisle window too many.  BTW: the County cars were delivered in Pennsy red. I saw them. It is possible that they later got N&W Tuscan, but the original paint was Pennsy.

For reference, here are photos of one of my Rivarossi N&W 10-6 Pullmans, "Virginia Polytechnic Institute". Both sides of the car are shown. Lois J.Ponton N&W steam historian
