Bob:

Check the NWSL on-line catalog http://www.nwsl.com/NWSL_Online_Catalog.html
for spoked wheels of various diameters. I have converted the pilot wheels
to spoked on several locomotives with NWSL wheels. It's generally a
simple "press off-press on-check gauge" operation.

Stack is scratch built. The spoked leading truck wheels are Proto 2000 for
the USRA 2-8-8-2. The rear truck at present has a Bachmann solid wheel
from their 2-6-6-2. I managed to acquire four sets of of the spoked wheels
from Walthers sometime back. Used two on a Y4 conversion and one on the lead
truck of my Z1b. Does anyone know if Walthers sells replacement parts for
their 2-8-8-2 models? I would like to acquire some additional sets for this as
well as maybe some future project.

Wow! Very nice looking model, Bob. Looks like a scratch build brass
stack? By the way, are those Bachmann wheels on the lead and trailing trucks?
