Every modelers need

I was "on board" (no pun intended) but my HOA doesn't allow yard art.

On a more serious matter, can anyone suggest their idea of the best switch machine? Seen the tortise advertised a bunch but pretty expensive for my layout with a need for some 24 turnouts.
