I'm in the proces of "converting back" two Overland HO C30 cabooses to C10 Vgn livery and trim. Information is scarce in England and I note that, unlike my DP C10, the C30s have a pipelike structure which runs over the roof and cupola. Was this widget/gizmo a N&W addition and what function did it perform ?
