It may seem obvious to us, but you should probably point out to them that 500-505 were GP9 Phase 2. and 506-521 were GP9 phase 3.

Also, there were two lettering schemes on the redbirds, the 1st with the "script" herald, the second with the "half moon" aka "hamburger" herald from late 1963.
