Atlas Alco RS 3

 Howdy,

 I recently purchased an Atlas Alco RS 3, in old N&W blue paint scheme. I need to find some replacement parts such as the pilot hand rails on the long hood or front end and also need to know if replacement gear units are still available. I know this isn't exactly the sort of modeling question normally placed on this list, but figured some N&W modelers may have this information, or may have experienced the same problem, especially if they model late steam and early diesel as I do. I have an extra RS 11 front hand rail, but it isn't quite the same as the type on the RS 3. After re-lubeing and cleaning the gears and wheel sets the engine runs smoothly, but the tall gear has a tendency to pop out of place under medium loads. So I suspect that the entire front drive assembly may soon need replacing. Since I bought it in used condition I don't even have the instruction sheet that normally comes with Atlas engines. I am even willing to buy an old parts model if someone has one. I ca
