The reason I need the color for the redbirds is that a manufacture is doing them and needs to know what is best.
We have been done this road with no help for the committee or society. Now we have a manufacture whom I am working with and wants to do a N&W correctly and asking for help. Should I pick what I like for everybody?

Based on replies to my suggestions and inquiries concerning the need to establish correct colors, I believe the official position is pick what ever color you like!
In realty the Passenger GP-9's were painted a metallic red. The metal fleck in the paint made it look like a deep candy apple red.
