N&W passenger car project being considered

I'd like a better streamlined coach and 10/6 sleeper for my model of
the "New York Train" 1/2 than the Rivarossi/Eichmann versions I have
now. I'll be running that behind redbird GP-9 power until I finish the
project to kitbash a streamlined K-2. Until I get the geeps painted I'm
using a J for a stand in at the club.

I believe This project to be hands down a winning, and not just for
the N&W side. I do marketing and with all the J's that have been
produced brass and plastic. Walthers and BLI have done special car
consist, and this I believe would be more popular. Whether right or
wrong some said they would purchase the set to run for an excursion
train in the 80/90's.

Stephen

PS: I have not any requestion for the as delivered set with the green
trucks.

Stephen,

I would be for either. I just bought a J from Broadway and
recommended the same thing to them when I sent in my registration.

good market for a Quality Powhattan 5 Car set with lights and
interiors. One of the first question I was asked what time period
would these fit. My preference is the deskirted fifties version
with the black roofs. He suggested doing the forties version and
that if they sell well he could he could later do the fifties
version.
