Y6b stenciling

Most of the Y6b's I have seen are all black. I havea Y6 and a Y4 that are grey smokebox.... the Y6b's I have seen in pictures and video appeared to be all black.

  Does any know if the Y6b should have the grey on top of the smoke box.
  The only y6b that should have a complete gray smokebox was the nonlagged 2188.
  All the rest were painted black except the front end [door and facing[.
