Stephen,

I see no real differences when looking at BWL 600 and 613. (I may be getting blind with age.) Provide me with a good visual description of what I'm specifically looking for please? I'll give it a second try. On the other hand, I noticed the cab window red on 600 is a much brighter red than on the 612 and the window frames on the back of the cab on 600 aren't painted. (the browner red on 613 is more correct than the bright red on 613). The bell is on top of the boiler on 600 as it should be.

Does the N&W J #600 model have the counter weight on the front? Please reply.

(snip) It's not worth a big debate. They're all within the variety of shades/tints seen in the old N&W color pictures! I like my PRR #14 Caboose Red!!!! Pick the color you like and be happy!

I say:

Amen!
