Slightly OT.. BUT....

For the Y6b¹s maybe doublehead e¹m with A-tanks? It does look like the
ancient articulation method used by Rivirossi since last century.

Also, I think the NMRA car weight recommendations are too heavy. My hopper
fleet does NOT have the underside metal slope sheet weights. I used Jay-Bee
wheelsets instead of kaydee or plastic wheels, and I buff the axle tips with
a dremel/brass wire brush. Because the cars run very smooth and with very
low resistance, I can pull a bunch of Œem up a 3 percent grade. I use
weighted Powerhouse Y3¹s and can pull 45 of them up the grade. I am using
20 HP¹s (copies) 10 HUa kludges, and a few stewarts. None of the Athern,
Stewarts, or Westerfield copies have weight other than the wheelsets. They
don¹t have derail problems being pushed thru the points of a turnout or
tiltover when being pulled up a curve all due to smooth rolling trucks,
with heavy wheels. My Loads are vacuform coal mounds with a thin layer of
real coal glued over the plastic insert.

I'll agree with all; it looks good from the pix. Hopefully, it'll run and
sound well. Having articulation only on the front engine is too much to ask
for, I'm afraid. The Oriental Powerhouse series was likely the only
sub-$1,000 engine we'll see with 1 swiveling engine, not 2.

While on the subject, I've been playing with my lone BLI J and I gotta say,
it's growing on me, although the sound not quite synching with the driver
revolutions is still a bit off to me. The whistle even sounds better once I
turned down the volume. Still, not sure it's worth 3 Botchmanns, though.
