BLI vs Specrum J

the BLI has a traction tire and more weight allowing it to pull a much heavier train. Also the BLI has a traditional draw bar vs. the close coupling divise on the spectrum, which can cause problems. I run on a layout with a 4% grade so the BLI makes a lot of sense in my case.

Have not seen the BLI model up close; but I do own several Spectrums. I
can't imagine how the BLI model would be enough better to justify that
much extra cost. I would say, go with the Spectrum.  Jim Nichols<br>
