HU/HUa Hoppers

I have scanned the photos of the HU hopper and scaled them to HO scale. I
was gonna do some crude ones with borrowed parts, which I was going to make
molds of so I could cast a car at a time. The master for one side was
finished, but the ends, slopes and little stuff still needs to be completed.
Since I DO model the mid 1930s, I wanted something to go with the HP hoppers
I already had. I did copy the main HP parts so I could make a bunch more of
those too, and that's what led to the HU. I have the single HR too. I also
reworked a Bowser USRA 482 into a K2 look alike, and had been doing my
homework for a series of Z1's based on Bowser H9 mechanics and a bunch of
stuff from other models, and a boiler from PVC tubing with most larger
details cast in place. Bowser discontinued the spoked wheels, I found it
hard to get the 'close' trailer truck, and tenders were hard to find too. I
already had a prototype M2c I was tinkering with.
