VGN Bridges Without Walkways ... UGH !

...and could have saved the lives of three young men if it had a walkway!

     I never understood the company's thinking on not having a walkway 
on at least one side of a bridge! The slogan "Safety First" falls flat 
down to the ground without a walkway! I can't recall how many times 
someone on our district told a supervisor that a certain small bridge 
needed a walkway! Not until an employee fell into the creek and get hurt 
did they heed our warnings!
