 NS 23G, with Heritage unit Norfolk and Western leading, had to hold at
the Ford signal as there was a logjam in the yards due to an early
morning train-pickup truck accident just east of Wyndale. There were
no injuries. The female driver was pulled from the F150 by a nearby
resident. He then used a flashlight to alert the oncoming train of the
truck resting on the tracks and it braked to be at only 3 mph when it
hit the truck.
