My N&W directory lists. G.E. Wilson that was Systems Developer, Computer Devices, Roanoke. No date is on my directory but suspect it is from the mid '70s.

Jeff:

Two possibilities:

 

1- The N&W and NS telephone directories.  If the man had a company 

     telephone, you can determine  department and location where he

     worked.

 

2-  The Norfolk & Western Magazines.  The archives has bound volumes

      going back to 1923 (?).  Some have an index for every year included

      and personnel appearing in the magazine are alphabetically listed. Most,

      however, are officers getting a promotion.  There's also a list of

      obituaries.
