Sounds to me like the field logic is flawed. The main computer system
can mess up all it wants but the field logic is supposed to have fail
safes to keep these things from happening. That being said though, if
there is a signal that has field logic that is screwed up bad things
happen. As i mentioned in another email that is a signal in the area
that has had a history of 'false clears' so it would not surprise me if
that was the case in Tuesday's incident.
