Question/Dilemma about High Bridge Construction...?

There's one other fact that may confirm that the main
track was shifted from the center of High Bridge.

A quarter mile (or so) west of the Farmville-end of the
bridge, there was an 0.28 degree curve to the left
followed by an 0.28 degree curve to the right.  Curve
had a 1" superelevation.  The M/W Engineering Dept.
called it a "correction".  Possibly this "correction"
placed the main track back to its original alignment.
