Has it been taken out? In addition to the rare WB move or work extra, it
s or was used to get the returning Whitethorne pusher in the clear for a
ollowing EB.

here may still be a spur track at Shelby (not a passing siding).
When working two pushers, N&W dispatchers found benefits in putting
the pusher on the first train in the spur, then after the second
train topped the climb, the two pushers would couple and return to
Whitethorne as one, saving delays to a follow-up move. Harry Bundy
