Witness Against Counterfeiters
George Briggs, Norfolk and Western agent at Mora, was here yesterday and left last night for Huntington where he will appear as a witness for the government in the Jack Wilson, R. R. Folden and Layne brothers counterfeiters case which will be tried in the federal court at Huntington this week. It is charged by the government that these men are professional counterfeiters, and it is understood Mr. Briggs will make a valuable witness for Uncle Sam.
[Mora was on the Crane Creek Branch off the Bluestone Branch and at, or near, McComas, WV.]

Inspects New Pump House
The mammoth pumps that are to be put in use by the Norfolk and Western at Graham have arrived and are being installed. A large force of men is engaged in handling the work. Superintendent W. S. Becker was here yesterday inspecting the new pump house.

Resigns to Take Better Job
Bob Crabtree, who has had charge of the Norfolk and Western signals between Bluefield and Bluestone since the new automatic system was installed last spring, has resigned the position to accept managership of the Virginia and Tennessee Telephone Company, with headquarters at Pulaski.

Inspects Tunnels and Bridges
Master Carpenter J. R. Anderson went down the Clinch Valley yesterday on a special train for the purpose of inspecting the tunnels and bridges on that branch.
