Harry - the proposed routing for the passenger service out of Norfolk is the
Virginian track/right-of-way to Algren and then to CSX to Kilby then to NS
to Petersburg.  They will have to add some track from the industrial park in
Chesapeake to Algren and the connection at Kilby should be interesting.
There is much discussion in Suffolk about where they can put a station that
will work for the temporary run on NS from Norfolk to Petersburg and work
for the Vgn/CSX/NS route.  It is my understanding that the station in
Norfolk will be at Harbor Park, very close to where the old passenger
station was.
