What really bugs me is the local. There are days the local has 16-18 cars (loaded) and one SD40-2. One needn't be
a genius to know it's way over the tonnage rating. Harry Bundy

Eastbound tonnage rating for Group 3's (SD40-2) is 3100 tons... westbound is 2400 tons. So eastbound up to 21 cars (assuming all are 286K), westbound up to 16 cars is within tonnsge rating.
