Five Miles of Box Cars
    An old railroad man estimated that there were five miles of box cars on the railroad yards here at one time yesterday.
------
Freight Wreck at Fort Gay
    A freight wreck at Fort Gay Sunday delayed No. 4, due here at 8:50 a. m., until 5 o'clock.  Nine freight cars and two engines were put out of business.  No one was hurt.

Big Crowds at Depot
    Two sections of No. 3 took the crowd home from the circus last night.  Both trains carried their capacity and the depot just previous to the departure of these trains had the appearance of a large city depot.  It was packed, as well as both platforms being crowded.  The crowds were very orderly and the police had but little trouble during the entire day.

Baggage Exchanged
    While train No. 10 was coming into Tazewell yesterday some baggage was in some way exchanged.  A grip belonging to the little daughter of Judge Joseph M. Sanders was carried away by some one else and in its place was left a grip evidently belonging to G. E. Vaughan, of Lynchburg.  Judge Sanders would be glad to return Mr. Vaughan's grip and would also like to recover his daughter's valise.
