The tender of the engine pulling passenger train No. 4 left the rails near Hardy yesterday, and jumped crossways of the track. The front baggage car was considerable damaged and the steps were torn from it, but no one was hurt. The train was delayed about four hours.

[Unless someone knows where Hardy was on the route on No. 4 in 1903, I would assume that the name is a reporter's error.]
