Turntables in the early 20th Century...Luray VA

The 17th Annual Report of the N&W (June 1913), page 13, notes the following...

"100-foot turntables, were installed at Lambert's Point and West Roanoke, Va., Williamson,
West Va., and East Portsmouth and Columbus, Ohio, and a 75-foot turntable at Luray, Va."

A turntable in Luray? What for and where? Shenandoah maybe, but Luray?
