My 1972 LIST OF STATIONS AND SIDINGS shows  Boaz
Pusher Siding to be 250.62 -- Miles from Norfolk,  not
at Mile Post 250.62.
 
Before it was abandoned, there were 12 consecutive
"short" miles between MP 150 (Farmville) and MP 162
west of Prospect. on the main line.  "Short" (or  "long")
miles can result from realignments, but the editors  of
the station and siding book apparently calculated  miles
in 5,280 feet.
