Boiler Explosion near Wytheville.

The Norfolk Virginian - Pilot article indicated that the residents of a
nearby house never knew of the explosion. If you're familiar with the
location of the incident, it's kinda hard to believe. Louis Newton
noted that the engine blew DOWN, not UP. When the Traffic
Control panel went dark, the dispatcher called Signal Maintainer
McDaniel at Wytheville to investigate. Patrolling from his motor
car, he rounded the curve and collided with the 2153. No
