Barre Avenue N&W Signals

Here is a photo I took on March 15, 2003 of the N&W signal bridge at Barre Avenue in Norfolk.  A beautiful piece of historical infrastructure gone forever.

The N&W signal bridges are becoming VERY rare.  Aside from Colley Avenue, you'd have to go to Roanoke to see the next closest one.  After that its the east end of Elkhorn Tunnel on the Pokey.
