Bowser announcement

Since #1013 lasted the longest on the N&W roster, as well as still out there operating somewhere, I would think that would be the logical choice. I will commit to purchasing a #1013 through the Society if offered, with the proviso that it would have to be in the as delivered scheme (black with the hamburger style heralds)

Does anyone know if this unit might have ever received the short-lived Black with "n & w" scheme? I've seen photos of it in Blue and looking in dire need of a repaint. Just wondering if it got it or not.

James,
Thanks for your reply and clearing up the numbering that I had mis-read. So it looks like we could ask Bowser to do an odd number for us if enough folks were interested in buying one. Give me a show of hands if you would purchase one from the Society in a unique number.
Thanks,
Jim Cochran

Bowser is offering four numbers: 1008, 1010, 1014, 1016.
Numbers are the same for DCC ready and with DCC Sound.
I modeled 1013 since it was the last retired and remained on the roster the longest.

Not sure on the EL units matching the ex-Wabash units. Appears the EL units have dynamic brakes where the Wabash units did not.

OK,
I have done a little more looking and it appears that Bowser is offering all 10 HH models already. However, the LH photos from their ad show EL units that seem to match up well with my photo of N&W 1003. Please let me know if this is correct.
Thanks,
Jim
