New? Bachmann streamliners

I'm not surprised that they are inaccurate, and I would guess that they are
generic cars painted and lettered for multiple roads (brings back memories
for some of us I'm sure).
I'll admit I'm not as checked out on N&W passenger cars as I should be,
but...
Are they even close to what they're supposed to be? Are there reasonable
tweaks to make them closer to correct say, at a two foot viewing?
As a member of the Modeling Committee, albeit primarily a Virginian
Modeler, I've been suggesting that if a freight car, passenger car, or even
a locomotive isn't quite right, that we can do something online or in the
Arrow or in the TAF with realistic steps to "correct" something that's
close.
