Stephen, All,I am compiling modeling era responses specific for our group, since this is our target market.  Stephen, you didn't mention your era, do you model a particular time frame?  Everyone else, please send your years modeled if you haven't already.  I have put the preliminary information into the start of a spreadsheet that should reveal the years that have the most interest and therefore the greatest demand for models. Thanks again,Jim

Just my thoughts and opinion: The most model era according to the last national survey is the 70's. Therefore, our society has done early models one after the other, so let's move forward to the most model era and do some NW hoppers (which is lacking) or any other project. I am not in the market nor interested in another 50' boxcar.Stephen Rineair

Roger, We could get Bower to make such a run and it looks like they would have been painted in the "AND" scheme for at least 16 years which would be longer than the "&".  The difficulty in committing to this project is that Bowser has a minimum run requirement of 200 cars, but that is broken up into 4 road numbers.  With the "&" cars being quite recent, I am not sure how many "AND"s we would be able to sell.  But hey, you guys tell me;  how many of these cars would you be willing to commit to purchasing in the "AND" scheme?  If we can get commitment for over half up front, then the project could well be a GO. It would be nice if we could get Bowser to do the N&W boxcars with "AND" rather than the ampersand.  As far as Accurail any boxcars done the same way would be great. Not sure what cars they offer that would be acceptable other than the PS-1.

All, Most of the projects with Accurail have done OK to this point and I am ready to start on the next one.  With so much diversification in interests out there, it is very hard for me to know which direction to head in terms of what kind of car for what time period would be a good candidate.  Please take a few minutes to look at what body styles are available and what would best fit your needs for one or a few additions to your fleet.
