Lightweight Passenger Project From The North Bank Line

Several years ago, Union Terminal Imports produced the Wabash Railroad’s Blue Bird passenger train in HO Scale.  The cars as they appeared in later N&W service were also offered.  UTI intended to import Wabash’s City of Kansas City passenger train as a follow-up project.  But they left the brass import business before that could happen.




The North Bank Line has decided to pick-up where UTI left off and import not only Wabash’s City of Kansas City, but also the passenger cars lettered for N&W service as the Banner Blue passenger train, individually and in a six-car set.




NBL needs to have enough reservations to make this project a reality and, according to them, interest in this project has been “slow.”




Now is the time for any body on the fence to make a commitment to this project.  Otherwise it won’t become a reality.  Reading between the lines of the latest NBL announcement, they’ve set a deadline of the end of this month for sufficient reservations to proceed with this project.




I have attached NBL’s matrix for this project, the most recent flyers and  prototype photos of a few of the cars in N&W service.




N&W models in brass are few and far between.  So, please, don’t take a pass on this great brass offering.  Grab this opportunity while it’s still available.
