The NWHS Modeling Committee is working to get some more N&W/VGN specific or special models produced.  Today this IOgroup has approximately 660 members.  Our best guess is that about half of you all are modelers, mostly HO, so this seemed like a logical place to determine if a special Virginian model is feasible. The Society needs good information to justify the investment of members' money.   We are working to produce a typical--meaning working off "standard" drawings--for a Virginian medium sized station, utilizing the station at Purdy VA as a start.  We are working with a laser kit manufacturer who does high quality work--we've seen the models he has done for other societies.  Estimated price is appropriate for a model of this quality done in limited quantity.  We will be including information as to history, modification for similar Virginia structures, etc, and painting suggestions.   So to cut to the chase, we'd like to know who would be interested in such a model, HO, Virginian station, retail in the $80-90 ballpark, hopefully 10% NWHS member discount.
