I am just curious, are Accurail going to make tooling for this H35 hopper, or is what is being discussed, a repaint of an existing car?
It occurs to me that those ex-Virginian hoppers look kind of distinctive with that lowered sill (?? -I don't know how to refer to it.)
The pictures are handy for me , as I see they were around at least until 1980. (The models not so much, HO isn't feasible in my London flat.)
On the C&O Piney Creek Sub Facebook page, the guy has an HL hopper that has 'somehow survived in this backwater'. Did that happen much on the N&W ?

I model the 1950's around Roanoke in HO (N&W), so I guess I'm transition
era as well. I do have late steam and early diesel power.
