 I have a spare I can send you, need address. I would use Dap Rapid Fuse all purpose adhesive
if not at a big box store go to a local hardware store.

Any suggestions for the best plastic adhesive to use to re-apply the 
post?
(The handrail seems to be made of spring wire and it takes some force to 
bend and hold it to the curvature of the smokebox)
