I have a shot of 429 in Damascus 1952 (attached) that closely matches your
model except for the 2nd dome. None of my pix, and I have many, show that
feature. The small tender was replaced with a larger, 6-wheel truck version
on 429 by 1957 according to my photos. The "sunflower" spark arrestor
limits the engine number options greatly.

I've been looking online to try to identify a likely number for this engine
that Sunset built a model of years back. I know so many engines have
differences (headlight placement, tender type, etc.).

Can anyone help identify which number(s) this model might represent? I've
considered 475, even though it's not accurate, but many similarities. It
would be nice to know which number it really should be.

Thanks,

Phil Miller
