Greetings,
I got this email from the Roanoke Chapter, NRHS "Turntable Times" editor Gary Ballard. Gary said that I could rewrite it into the form of a media announcement. To be honest there's no way that I could tell you about the content of this historical Roanoke Chapter, NRHS video as well as Gary told me. I've decided to share it with you in the uncut version that Gary sent me. It just wouldn't be fair to cut anything out. I watched the video. I'm sure that it will be very emotional for some of us in the Roanoke Chapter. I'm a member of both the Roanoke and Blue Ridge Chapters, NRHS. In one scene Roanoke Chapter Member Brian Crosier is editing the pile of original Roanoke Chapter, NRHS Excursion VHS tapes. Brian was certainly one of our youngest members at the time. For those of you that didn't know Brian back in those days, he's the man with the really long blonde hair. Brian and I have about the same length hair these days. Let's just say our hair is a lot shorter! LOL!! I'm so happy that Gary moved back to our area and was able to narrate this video as he did back when the originals were produced! It would not have been the same if anyone else had narrated it. Gary Ballard will always be known to me as the "Voice of the Roanoke Chapter Excursion Videos"! There are members and Roanoke Chapter friends, like O. Winston Link, that are no longer with us shown in this video. I think that we all should feel fortunate to have known these fine folks and never forget the great times that we had together.
Make sure to view "The Watch Party" this coming Thursday night at 7:30 pm. The Roanoke Chapter will be hosting a virtual monthly meeting.
Thanks to everyone involved in making this program a reality!
Norris

Hey Norris,

Feel free to post and share this, it's a sneak peek at the big program: "Roanoke Chapter NRHS 10 Years in Review 1999-2000". This short video piece here is just a 4-minute promo of what the entire program is about.

It is on YouTube. Cameron Tracey is the inspiration behind getting me to dig out my master copy and run it through my video editing system and make it presentable to view and post it. Aside from the fact that it all was captured on VHS tapes, I think overall the whole program appears pretty good.

I'll leave it up to you as how you want to write your post, but share this if you can please. I hope any NRHS Chapters out there will be interested in seeing this. The link to the "promo video" is below. I just made it two days ago. By the way, the watch party is set for this Thursday night at 7:30pm.

Take care my friend! And I got my 2nd Pfizer shot already! Bless you buddy, stay safe!
